Welch, Forestville, Conn., cottage shelf clock with a 30 hour timepiece movement in a rosewood veneered case. (3) Waterbury Clock Co., Waterbury, Conn., cottage shelf clock with a spring driven 30 hour time and strike movement in a rosewood veneered case. (4) Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., cottage shelf clock with a spring driven 30 hour time and alarm movement in a rosewood veneered case. (5) Jerome & Co., New Haven, Conn., "Cottage No. 2" shelf clock with a spring driven 30 hour time, strike and alarm movement in a veneered case. (6): Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, Conn., cottage shelf clock with a spring driven 30 hour time and strike movement in a rosewood veneered case.
CONDITION:
(1) The case retains its original finish and there are no veneer issues. The painted dial has substantial loss. The hands are original. The door frame has been painted gold. The glasses are original with loss to the bottom glass; (2) A very clean and original clock in terms of the finish, dial, hands and door glasses. (3) The case has lost its finish. The dial has substantial loss. The hands may be original. The door glasses are original. (4) The dial, alarm ring and hour hand are missing. The case has its original finish with no veneer issues. The door glasses are original. (5) The case has substantial veneer loss on the base. The dial, hands and door glasses are original. (6) The clock is in very nice condition with respect to finish, dial, hands and glasses. It is missing the case top return molding on the right hand side. ***NOTE*** The deminsions are for clcok number 1.
